It was a well played game by the boys in red, white and blue. In my personal opinion I think a lot of fouls against us were not called, a lot of fouls against other teams were called and legitimate goals were taken away. I think America showed great respect even after poor calls. They didn't flop on weak tackles (which is more than I can say for most countries). I truly believe the world or FIFA wants to see the USA advance in the World Cup.
With that said, We now have 4 years to regroup. Maybe next time we can get the bid for the next World Cup up for grabs. If the MLS wants soccer to become a popular sport in the USA they need to pressure real hard to get that bid.
